Constitution of Newman Catholic Fellowship

Article I - NAME

This organization shall be known forthwith as Newman Catholic Fellowship of Trine University in Angola, Indiana.

Article II - PURPOSE

The purposes and objectives of this organization are:

  1. To share the mission of Christianity with everyone.

  2. To bring together Christian students, faculty, and staff to provide opportunities for growth, prayer, worship, and community building.

  3. To provide information on Catholic teachings, practices, and beliefs to interested students, faculty, or staff.

  4. To share the gifts of the Sacraments with any willing person.

Who We Are

Newman Catholic Fellowship provides a community for students who are either Catholic, interested in the Catholic faith, or just want to hang out and have a fun time. Our involvement, both on-campus and with the local parish, provides plenty of resources for a number of activities.

Through the will of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we strive to create an environment based upon the purposes in our vision, the principles we hold in our hearts, and the truths established through Scripture and Church dogma.

What We Do

We have a weekly on-campus Bible study or discussion session and assist with service projects and charity events at the church, Compassion Pregnancy Center, and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (just across the street from Trine's campus). We have an ample opportunity to participate in the various events held there.

In addition, we hold our own events - like board games and movie nights - and participate in St. Anthony's young adult events such as March for Life in Washington D.C. and World Youth Day.

Come join us at the Newman House, 501 S. Elizabeth Street, every Monday at 6:00 p.m.
