RESOURCES FOR FAITH SHARING COMMUNITIES
In an effort to provide each of the Faith Sharing Community with the right materials, this webpage will be a spot for sharing what the groups are doing or new resources that are available.
Please contact Annette Calloway if you have suggestions because others might benefit from your resources. Email Annette
Focus on the Sunday Reading
What could be better than to gather with your Faith Sharing Group and focus on the upcoming Sunday readings. This resource will give you prayers, reflection, and discussion questions all on the upcoming Sunday. Annette will prepare a weekly summary sheet you can print and use, or if you want to create your own you can use The Sunday Website at St. Louis University to create your own.
Living in the Sacred is a follow-up faith-sharing resource for RENEW International’s popular Living in the Sacred, based on Ronald Rolheiser’s book, Sacred Fire. Living in the Sacred takes participants on a deeper spiritual journey exploring the second stage of discipleship: “Giving your life away.” Having moved through the “getting your life together” stage, participants have made life commitments either in marriage or other relationships, child raising, to sick or elderly parents or other relatives, careers, communities, etc. Living in the Sacred is about how we stay true to these commitments as disciples of Christ.
Any faith sharing group that would like to use this resource needs to contact Annette with an estimate of the number of books needed by August 25th, 2022, so we can get the books ordered.
Faith Sharing Communities
St. Anthony's Catholic Church has a rich heritage of Faith Sharing Communities! These groups have been a true source of spiritual growth and fellowship. A Faith Sharing Community is a small group of 8-12 adults (couples can participate together) who gather regularly (usually 12 meetings a year) to connect their faith with everyday life. At these gatherings they follow reflection materials that includes prayer, reading and faith sharing conversation.
New members are always welcome, and the communities meet on all sorts of schedules to make this process work for everyone. Please let me know if you think you might be interesting in joining a group. There is no commitment, we will just investigate if there is a group that will work for you.

Other Groups to Connect With
Not strictly just a Bible study, our group reads and discusses many different books and articles and video series and topics. We are always learning so much! Thursday mornings at about 8:45 (after morning Mass) in classroom 6 in the parish center. Everyone is welcome to attend. Want more information, just email Annette.
Current Study: Presence
Although the Eucharist appears to be simple bread and wine, it is actually the "source and summit" of the Christian life. Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist explores the truth and beauty of Christ's real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture, to its profound role in the life of the Church and her members. It is the crescendo of the entire story of salvation.
