Trine Campus Ministry - The Newman Catholic Fellowship

Picture

Mission Statement:
The Newman Catholic Fellowship at Trine University welcomes people of all backgrounds who are seeking spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with the Lord. We aspire, as the new generation of Catholics, to be disciples of Jesus. Through the will of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can create an environment based upon the purposes in our vision, the principles we hold in our hearts, and the truths established through Scripture.

Vision for Our Group:
- To become the best-version-of-ourselves
- To provide regular activities that will promote faith and fellowship
- To celebrate and explore the gifts of the Sacraments

Vision for Our Community:
- To be a shining example of Christ’s light
- To volunteer our time and energy for the sake of universal betterment
- To proclaim the Gospel in our words, thoughts, and actions

THEOLOGY ON MONDAY - Every Monday at 7:00 pm - Laker Lounge (Best Hall 110A)
Theology on Monday explores issues of interest to students trying to understand all truth! We are currently going through the Book of Revelations! Laker Lounge is right next to the computer lab on the basement floor of Best Hall.

CAFÉ HOLY TONY - 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm - at Caruso's Restaurant. (Will start back up in October 2020!)
Café Holy Tony is St. Anthony Parish's discussion group for young Catholics. Trine students are always very welcome! You can read more here.

FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION at St. Anthony's - First Friday of the month beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This includes Eucharistic Adoration, opportunity to Talk with a Friar, candlelight meditation and Benediction.

St. Anthony's parish wants to support and encourage the Newman Fellowship at Trine University. We have a group of parishioners - including Trine faculty and administration members - who offer that support through the "TSMAG".
