RESULTS OF THE MAY 21-22, 2016 PPC ELECTIONS
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola held elections for three new members of the Parish Pastoral Council on the weekend of May 21-22, 2016. 320 parishioners cast ballots, an encouraging participation rate! There were 7 candidates, all of whom received many votes.
On Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 8:30 a.m., a six person ballot counting committee met and carefully counted all the votes. Elected to a four year term on the PPC were parishioners (in alphabetical order):

A big thank you to all seven candidates who showed a marvelous willingness to serve the parish. Thank you, as well, to the ballot committee for their hard work, and to the "old" pastoral council, and thank you to all the hundreds of parishioners who showed their commitment to the future of our paruish community by voting.
The "new" pastoral council will be constituted at their June meeting. Originally scheduled for June 7, we may need to reschedule that meeting. When we meet, the St. Anthony Parish Pastoral Council will consist of:
