WELCOME TO ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA
CATHOLIC CHURCH IN ANGOLA
The Catholic people of St. Anthony's are called to be the embodiment - the "enfleshment" - of Christ's mystical body her in Steuben County. Since 1929, our parish boundaries have been contiguous with the county, and our heritage bound up with the region.
We are named after Anthony of Padua, the Franciscan friar and saint of the 13th century who followed Francis od Assisi and brought peace, justice, and fervor to the Catholic people, in word and in deed. He is still our inspiration.
Since 1931. the Conventual Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Consolation have served the people of the parish and shared with them their destiny.
We hope that these pages will help you know the parish better.
